Addressing children’s interest..

Regrets of not learning an instrument is one of the many complaints I hear from parents. One parent today confessed to me how when she was younger she should have taken up the opportunity of playing an instrument. It was quite touching to hear that she didn’t want her kids to experience that, so she has enrolled her kids in all these activities so they don’t miss out.

This contrasts with one of our new adult students who has taken up violin lessons for his daughter to help her at home. He was saying how he wants to be a role model for her, so she can practice since she’s starting at a young age.

It’s great to see that how a lot of parents now a days, whether they have or don’t have a musical background are facilitating and encouraging their children’s musical talents and interests.
