Multi Tasking and Multi Learning

There are very rare skilled and talented students who endeavor to learn more than one instrument and can pull it off. Certain combinations are common like singing and playing the piano or guitar at the same time. However, learning two different forms of music at the same time is a challenging task.

Already playing one instrument may give you a big advantage when you start learning another, as you already have a solid grasp of music and music theory. Our music teachers spend their spare time singing whilst playing the piano, or playing for two guitars on the one guitar – an amazing talent which requires a very advanced level of skill and effort. Having a student, on the other hand, who can compose her own music and lyrics, and then sing and play it on the guitar simultaneously is just absolutely amazing! If only everyone had the time and motivation to learn more than one instrument, multi-learn and multi-task!
