I can safely say, there is nothing worse than an exam! and it seems as though October and November are full of them!
Many of the students at Shine Music School have been studying for the School Certificate, HSC, Uni or AMEB exams, front desk girls included! We’ve been swapping shifts so the desk doesn’t go unmanned.
The week before you sit the exam, I think, is the most stressful. It finally dawns on you that the exams are dangerously close and for all those procrastinators out there (me included) you’re running around like a headless chicken trying to get all your notes together to study!
Preparation is your best friend during these dark times, and you won’t regret it. Organize a study group with your friends, so you can motivate each other and provide moral support when needed. Don’t stay cooped up in your room all the time, take a break once in a while and get some fresh air. Take a walk in the park to destress and clear your mind, then go back to your desk, glue yourself to the chair and concentrate on whatever exam you are studying for. If you get past papers from your teachers, finish them, they’re very helpful!
Good luck to all of you! Wish you all the best 🙂
